We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large-scale technologic solutions to big companies.What are we looking for?We are looking for a IT Business Analyst working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst, with a robust technical background, to join our team and contribute to the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an internal platform. This platform aims to digitalize and streamline the processes involved in transitioning from the architecture of cloud solutions to the building of infrastructure in development environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing user stories and working with development teams to ensure clear, actionable requirements.Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, product owner, developers, and project managers, to gather and document detailed requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to understand the needs and pain points of users.
  • Create comprehensive user stories with technical specifications, including context, data requirements, integration points, and performance criteria, ensuring they are clear, actionable, and ready for developers to pick up, complete with acceptance criteria. She/he will be assisted in that task by AI (GitHub Copilot and/or ChatGPT) to speed up
  • Ensure each user story is aligned with business objectives and provides value to end-users.
  • In collaboration with the product owner, maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the project’s evolving needs and priorities.
  • Work closely with the product owner and development team to refine and break down user stories into actionable tasks.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
  • Conduct regular meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes related to cloud architecture and infrastructure development.
  • Propose and document process changes that can be implemented through the MVP.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to user stories, acceptance criteria, and any other relevant artifacts.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and ensure user stories meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Participate in testing phases to validate that the developed features meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain testing scenarios (assisted by GitHub Copilot) to ensure that user stories are accurately translated into testable requirements, and to support behavior-driven development.
  • Work with the developers to integrate these scenarios into the testing pipeline.

What UST expects from you?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, particularly in projects involving cloud solutions and infrastructure.
  • Strong experience in writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles and infrastructure development.
  • Proficiency with project management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence
  • Familiarity with developer’s tech stack e.g. GitHub, programming (Java, Python), front-end
  • Good english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams
