Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.As IT Application System Analyst II you will support all 2 Caterpillar Mec-Track’s sites, based in Bazzano (Valsamoggia, BO) and S.Eusebio (Castelvetro di Modena MO).You will work on application/IT infrastructure technical problems identification and resolution.You will assess the need for creating or redesigning applications to meet unique business requirements, to enhance user productivity and adapt to organizational needs.You will provide Project management and/or Business Support guidance, and assistance to other team members.You will run tests on new applications, troubleshoot issues reported by employees, and perform regular maintenance checks ensuring data security, based on corporate guidelines.You will work and collaborate with worldwide Caterpillar IT groups involved in all IT areas (IT Infrastructure, DB Admins, IT Architects, Developers…)Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent, proficient in advanced computing skillsMother tongue in Italian & fluent in EnglishAdvanced problem-solving ability.Good understanding of manufacturing end-to-end business processesTeam player, proven communication skillsMandatory Technical Skills:5 to 10 years of experience on a similar role, as part of a Manufacturing company’s IT Team.Sound knowledge of help desk operations, task-related skills, and knowledge of operating systems.Project management skills.A proven ability on gathering and interpreting business data.Understanding software advantages and disadvantages and document them for the Business partners.Top Candidates will also have:ITIL Foundation certification will be an asset but not mandatoryWorking experience with Microsoft365 suite (Sharepoint, Power BI, Power Apps)A good experience with one of the following languages: HTML, SQL, C++ is also a valuable asset.Benefits:An international operating company with an excellent reputation.A key position in an innovative IT team, collaborating with specialists on all IT aspects worldwide.A very good long-term perspective and many career optionsCaterpillar offers many opportunities to help you enhance and increase your skills and knowledge through a consistent learning and development plan.Highly interesting Projects.Relocation is not available for this position.Posting Dates: September 2, 2024 – September 15, 2024Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
