Apply now!The positionAs Investment Controller, you will work closely with your colleagues including Project Director, Project Portfolio Manager, Senior Project Managers, along with peers within the Novo Nordisk financial organisation.As we are expanding our manufacturing capacity on a global scale, preparing to expand with new products, you play a key role in ensuring implementation and use of best practice project controls, along with fostering improvement and innovation.You will join a team of three Investment Controllers already within the PMO, acting as a sparring partner for colleagues and ensuring that relevant business insights are effectively shared across the team.Your key activities include:

  • Participating in the year- and month-end (CAPEX) project closing, ensuring postings and accruals are handled in a compliant and timely manner
  • Managing budget & forecasting on assigned projects, along with driving financial analyses, insights, and presentations
  • Contributing to activities throughout the life cycle of investment projects, ensuring project governance compliance
  • Assisting on ad hoc tasks for GCMD PMO

Success in this role requires that you make decisions regarding governance and project controlling and find the right balance between quality demands, simplicity, and business needs.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, we envision you:

  • Hold an academic degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, coupled with practical financial controlling experience
  • Possess solid experience working with the Microsoft Office Package and ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Demonstrate a structured, result-oriented approach with outstanding analytical and coordinating skills, capable of transparently visualising data and numbers
  • Showcase the ability to tailor communication to a broad audience at all levels, and deliver high quality presentation material
  • Display fluency in both written and spoken English

It would be considered as an advantage if you have experience with Business Intelligence suites, preferably Power BI and knowledge in VAT and Customs finance related operations.As a person, you are proactive, high performing, and business minded, passionate about helping to drive projects that will positively impact our business. You have strong social and communication skills, a good sense of humour, and a high level of energy, with good networking and follow-up skills that help you to succeed with your tasks. Lastly, you are a valued business partner and you take pride in always taking your analyses one step further.About the DepartmentGCM Devices is a part of the Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division and is responsible for the production of the entire portfolio of devices at facilities in Denmark, Europe, Asia, South America, and the US.From this department, we manage and expand a global network of partnerships with various suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Organisations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical devices and needles for our production needs.
