You will assist the Capital Markets department in the execution of large and complex transactions during which you will be in regular contact with clients.Your responsibilities

  • You will assist clients in their transactional process works by coordinating legal, fiscal and technical advisors and providing accurate support on real estate market related questions.
  • You will prepare commercial documentation such as Investment Teasers, Investment Memorandums, pitches, etc.
  • You will assist the commercial team by providing analytical support, leasing and investment comparatives and general market knowledge.
  • You will keep yourself up to date with Real Estate developments, major leasing and investment transactions and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economy and interest rates.
  • You will prepare and explain cash flow projections, IRR calculations and financial modelling.
  • You will draft and write reports for investors and asset managers in coordination with the Research Department.
  • You will ensure the coordination between the Marketing Department and Capital Markets in the preparation of deliverables together with the internal graphic designer.
  • You will prepare detailed purchase and sale reports.
  • You will contribute to the innovation and digitalization of the C&W CM processes.

Your skills and experience

  • You hold a Master degree in economics or other financial orientation and have 2 years experience in a similar role or in a financial consultancy firm or investment bank.
  • You have a good understanding of NPV/IRR/cash flows/NOI analysis.
  • You have strong accounting and financial skills – i.e. balance sheet/NAV/ratio analysis.
  • You enjoy preparing financial presentations for clients.
  • Your service-oriented attitude and pro-activity invariably lead to a high client satisfaction.
  • You have excellent organisational skills which enable you to multi-task and prioritise efficiently.
  • You are a team-player but are also able to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • You have strong attention to detail and consider yourself to be a completer/finisher.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have good command of the MS Office package and you feel comfortable learning to use new software/applications.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French.
  • Above all, you have a positive and friendly personality.
