Offer DescriptionLa unidad de Eurecat de Functional Printing and Embeded Devicesbusca un/a investigador/a postdoctoral para desarrollar dispositivos Lab-on-a-Chip orientados al análisis de parámetros en aguas y/o muestras biológicas. La persona seleccionada se incorporará a un equipo multidisciplinar dedicado a la investigación y desarrollo de sensores basados en electrónica impresa, con el objetivo de integrarlos en sistemas microfluídicos miniaturizados para aplicaciones avanzadas de monitoreo y diagnóstico.Funciones y responsabilidades:

• Estudio de tecnologías avanzadas
• Diseño y fabricación de plataformas de monitoreo basadas en sensores impresos combinados con chips microfluídicos.
• Funcionalización de superficies mediante diferentes estrategias de bioreconocimiento.
• Elaboración de procedimientos experimentales.

***Eurecat Functional Printing and Embeded Devices Unit searchs a postdoctoral researcher to develop Lab-on-a-Chip devices for analyzing parameters in water and/or biological samples. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the research and development of sensors based on printed electronics, aiming to integrate them into miniaturized microfluidic systems for advanced monitoring and diagnostic applications.Responsibilities:

• Study of advanced technologies.
• Design and fabrication of monitoring platforms based on printed sensors combined with microfluidic chips.
• Surface functionalization using different biorecognition strategies.
• Development of experimental procedures.

• PhD en nanociencia y nanotecnología, química, física, ciencia de materiales, ingenería electrónica, mecánica, industrial, biología o similar

Experiencia y conocimiento:

• Experiencia previa en el desarrollo y caracterización de sensores (ópticos, electroquímicos, etc)
• Conocimiento en técnicas de impresión y tratamiento de superficies.
• Valorable tener conocimiento previo en sistemas integrados miniaturizados lab-on-chip y/o experiencia con reactivos químicos.

Idiomas:

• nivel alto de Catalán, Castellano e Inglés

***Education:

• PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biology, or a related field.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Previous experience in the development and characterization of sensors (optical, electrochemical, etc.).
• Knowledge of printing techniques and surface treatment.
• Previous experience with miniaturized lab-on-chip integrated systems and/or chemical reagents is a plus.

Languages:

• High proficiency English
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Catalan will be valued.
