What you’ll build:

Threat modeling is essential for designing secure software. Agentic AI—autonomous systems capable of reasoning, planning, and acting—offers new opportunities to assist security teams throughout the development lifecycle.

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented intern to contribute to the design of an agentic-AI threat modeling assistant, collaborating with SAP experts in cybersecurity, AI, and software development.

Objectives:

-Conduct a state-of-the-art study on agentic AI (autonomous LLM agents, multi-agent frameworks, planning, reasoning, associated risks)
-Define relevant use cases for AI-assisted threat modeling
-Collaborate with SAP Security to identify requirements, constraints, and priority scenarios
-Develop and test a Proof of Concept: architecture analysis, threat reports, and mitigation suggestions
-Document results and regularly present progress to stakeholders
 

What you bring:

Master’s level (M1,M2), or first–/second-year engineering school student,

Technical

-Strong proficiency in Python.
-Familiarity with LLMs and agentic/multi-agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, Swarm, CrewAI, etc.).
-Understanding of software development workflows (GitHub, APIs, automation).
-Interest in software architecture and distributed systems.

Security

-Knowledge of threat modeling methodologies (STRIDE, LINDDUN, attack trees…).
-Awareness of application security and cloud security concepts.

Soft Skills

-Analytical mindset, curiosity, autonomy.
-Ability to communicate effectively with experts and synthesize complex inputs.
 

Where you belong:

You will join SAP Labs France in a team dedicated to software security, whose mission is to enable SAP developers to deliver secure software.

Duration: 6 months

Start date: Flexible, ideally March 2025
