Internship in Danish Red Cross International DepartmentThis internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in global health advocacy, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and digital content management. The intern will work across various projects to support IFRC Network strategy for NCDs integration in humanitarian health frameworks, engaging with multiple teams and contributing to impactful advocacy efforts and improving the IFRC Network efficiency in NCD interventionsThe upcoming Fourth High-Level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNHLM) on the Prevention and Control of NCDs in 2025 presents a critical opportunity to prioritize Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in humanitarian settings. The Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) Network has been a dedicated advocate for the inclusion of NCD care in emergency preparedness and response, reflecting its commitment in global policy requests.The NCD Intern will provide comprehensive support for the RCRC NCD advocacy initiatives within humanitarian settings and leading up to the UNHLM on NCDs expected to happen in Sept. 2025.This internship will be hosted by the Danish Red Cross – International Department – Technical and Quality and Impact unit and working closely in a daily basis with the DRC health advisors. The Intern is also expected to support the IFRC NCD officer based in Geneva.During your internship you will support and learn about the following areas:
