This is your chance to combine analytical thinking and creativity to solve real business challenges while working in a global environment. Additionally, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work on your Master’s thesis as part of your internship, bridging practical experience with academic research.What You’ll Be Working On

• Main Responsibilities:

• Support in designing end-to-end supply chain processes and its execution.
• Assist in aligning Order-to-Plant allocation with Distribution Requirements Planning
• Analyse stock levels and internal logistics movements to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Key Projects:

• Conduct research and create a literature review on best practices for end-to-end supply chain designs supported by technology.
• Develop a mathematical (simulation) model to optimize required service levels and minimize logistics costs, using real-life data.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction while driving efficiency.
• Collaboration:

You’ll work closely with the Global Supply Chain team, including experts in Customer Service, Logistics, Planning, and Data & Analytics. The team focuses on developing digital products to drive efficiency and productivity, while also refining processes, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration. Joining us means contributing to global supply chain excellence and digital transformation in a dynamic, innovative environment.The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 February 2025
• The internship is fulltime
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months
• It is a theoretical research internship, scientific project for graduation.
• You will be based in Amsterdam.
• During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup.
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week (when you start at the 1st of January 2025).
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

• You’re currently doing your master program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Conditions of HEINEKEN * You are enrolled at an educational institution.

• In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
• In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
• Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
