The internship will commence in January or February with a minimum of 12 weeks.We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Fulfilment Sourcing team.This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of procurement and logistics. Under the guidance of our seasoned professionals, you will have the chance to contribute to optimisation projects and negotiations aimed at improving our logistics services cost picture and operational setup.You:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Law, Economics, Logistics, Procurement or a related fieldInterested in learning about negotiation tactics and the last mile services industryAt ease to connect and communicate with many different stakeholdersCommercial mindset and behaviourHave excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsLove teamworkComputer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Being able to prioritse goals and tasksPossess a professional level of English. Speaking French and/or Dutch is a plusWhat you’ll be doing day to dayAssist in the preparatory work linked to tendering and negotiationPerform market research to build an understanding of the services industry and its playersBe responsible for contract management, supplier registration and administration in our SAP toolBe part of external supplier discussionsHelp evaluate and decide on chosen partnershipsOur team within IkeaOur team is the voice of IKEA.
