As Physical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
- the analog floor planning and layout, place and route
- the RC extraction / Static Timing Analysis
- handling design for manufacturing, physical verification, formal verification
- performing the power analysis, cross talk analysis
- the incoming deliverable inspection (memories/IO/core libs/analog IP)
- optimizing the area, power, yield and speed
- handling the design-for-security and design-for-manufacturing
- verifying the Bond Diagram
As candidate for this role you:
- student of a technical university in Electronics, Telematics or relevant
- bring interest in process technology (physics) / design methodology (CAD) standard and advanced technologies;
- have good configuration management skills;
- have good technical English skills.
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.370- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
