We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.For the Affiliates & Joint Ventures department at our office in Brussels (near to Central Station and subway, ) we are looking for an International Asset Manager (m/f/x).The mission of the Affiliates and Joint Ventures department is to maximise the value of Fluxys’ foreign shareholdings for the group by ensuring strategic alignment between the various subsidiaries, assisting the management of these companies in developing their activities and proposing solutions where necessary and possible. Through its cross-functional involvement with other departments within the Fluxys group, it is in constant contact with partners such as the finance, controlling, commercial, legal and human resources departments.Job

respon­sibilities

  • You will support the group in improving its efficiency and its integrated operations in shareholder management. You will identify opportunities for improvement and potential synergies
  • You will coordinate and manage the reporting process of key events and periodic results of the subsidiaries to senior management
  • To this end you will:
  • help management in developing local projects, ranging from process optimisation to the design of an appropriate market model
  • develop projects for the benefit of local management
  • constructively challenge the objectives, performance, and approach of the local management
  • work as a link between the local teams and the expertise available at group level
  • report on the subsidiaries’ activities
  • maintain regular contact with the teams in the affiliates in order to take the pulse of their activities and proactively eliminate factors likely to lead to underperformance
  • You will prepare the positioning of the members of the Board of Directors representing Fluxys and coordinate it with the positioning of the other shareholders
  • You will identify opportunities for Fluxys – in particular to involve the affiliate(s) in the energy transition – and follow them up after consultation with the management team
  • You will coordinate or lead projects implemented across several assets as required. These projects may be of more technical or commercial nature

About
you

  • Master’s degree in engineering, business engineering, management, or a related field
  • First relevant professional experience, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Experience or good knowledge of finance
  • Strong project management, analytical and synthetical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders at different levels of the organisation
  • Sense of initiative and good organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn continuously
  • Ability to integrate easily into a reactive, demanding and changing environment
  • Excellent command of English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French would be an asset
