Internal Sales Engineer – Front Line Representative, CBS

Grundfos Italy is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Engineer – Front Line Representative for the Commercial Building Service (CBS) Team Division.
The purpose of this role is to contribute to a thriving sales team whilst delivering world class customer services through various Customer channels i.e. telephone, E-mail, instant messaging etc.
Provide first Customer contact resolution on inquiries which can resolve rather shortly and decide on the further processing of business transactions based on defined processes.
Provide timely and effective quotations, technical advice, and Order Entry related support to Customers and sales teams.
Engaging with the customer is crucial to the success of this role therefore applicants should be able to communicate effectively; have the ability to listen, to empathize with the customer, and project a positive, friendly, helpful and cheerful manner.
Key areas of responsibility:
You will be responsible for commercial and technical advice on Customer inquiries
You will create tickets, e.g. request for information, request for quotation and order entry workflow, for own processing or for forwarding to the back office
You will create processed offers according to the description
You will track offers according to specifications (e.g. sales guidelines)
You will follow up on Customer interactions within Service Level Agreement
You will provide standard pricing and delivery information
You will identify business opportunities and handover to external sales
You will create, delete and maintain Customer contact data in the SAP CRM system, enter the incoming orders
You will contact Customers or internal stakeholders e.g. to resolve missing order data
You will manage Customer order changes (lead time, shipping conditions, quantity, postponements, rejection, cancellation) and interaction with External Sales, Finance and the Supply Chain.
What do you need to apply?
You have a positive and resilient personality alongside with digital mind-set. You are customer-focused with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively. You are highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Moreover, you have the ability to work well under pressure, you are highly adaptable and react positively to change in a fast-paced environment.
Furthermore:
high school Technical diploma with specialization in electronics and hydraulics
experience from the world of electric pumps
have some years of relevant experience in a similar role
have experience from customer service or sales – preferably within an international company
are experienced with tenders and quotations at a professional level
have good IT Skills – preferably SAP experience
have great communication skills
speak and write English
