The ‘Internal Control Assistant’ role is part of SCOR’s Internal Control System (ICS) team, which reports to the Operational Risk Management department. The ICS team’s primary objective is to consolidate internal control expertise to ensure a consistent approach and the application of ICS standards across the Group.

The team is composed of specialists dedicated to coordinating internal control formalization activities within the Group, its business units, and entities, while also supporting business process owners when needed.

In alignment with SCOR’s ambition to be a data-driven company, a significant aspect of this role involves data analytics and leveraging SCOR’s information systems for risk analysis. You will report directly to one of the ICS Risk Managers.

We are seeking a candidate available for at least 12 months, with a preference for longer availability.

In your role as Internal Control Assistant, and together with ICS Risk Manager(s) worldwide,

you will assist in documenting processes, risks, and controls in compliance with Group standards.

Your main duties will be to:

  • Provide general support to ICS Risk Manager(s)
  • Support process owners in the process and control documentation, maintenance, and enhancement
  • Perform quality checks of ICS documentation and control evidence
  • Perform consistency checks in the ICS tool
  • Assist with ICS reporting and analysis
  • Support ICS campaigns regarding risks and controls assessments
  • Facilitate the issue monitoring and resolution process

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree level preferred in Finance, Engineering, Business, Audit, Accounting, Risk Management, or Insurance, or equivalent experience.
