Description Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Internal Auditor dedicated to supporting the establishment and ongoing operations of our new Business Services Center in Mokotow, Warsaw. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. We are now actively seeking to hire a collaborative, client-driven and curious Internal Audit professional. Enjoy a flexible hybrid work arrangement, balancing collaboration in the office 3 days with the convenience of remote working 2 days per week.
Scope of the Role
-Lead and execute internal audit engagements, including, planning, fieldwork and reporting.
-Collaborate with other departments to understand business processes and address audit-related concerns.
-Follow auditing practices, procedures and preparing appropriate audit workpapers and documentation to support the audit report.
-Conduct process interviews, document narratives and flowcharts to identify process controls and weaknesses, perform testing for key controls and obtain appropriate supporting audit evidence.
-Facilitate issue tracking and validation of closure of issues.
-Collaborate closely with the Internal Audit Manager to inform on any emerging issues and audit progress.
-Preparing and delivering of audit reports which will be shared with management and the Audit Committee.
Experience Required
-Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; progress toward a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is preferred.
-Directly relevant audit experience in a similar internal audit position, preferably in a financial institution / Professional Services in an international environment
-Basic working knowledge of financial and operational risks and controls with an understanding of internal auditing standards and techniques.
-Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is an advantage.
-Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
-Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid professional relationships.
-Comfortable to work independently and as part of a wider global team.
-Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) are required, as is knowledge of data analytics.
-Excellent verbal and written English language.
-Potential international travel requirements (15-20%).
