Internship Opportunity in the Director General’s Services.Location ParisOur team and missionThis position is based at the ESA HQ – Paris, FranceThe Language Services and Minute-Writing Division is responsible for:
- providing Agency-wide translation and editing services (English, French and German) in support of ESA’s official meetings;
- providing translation and editing services for correspondence, speeches, presentations and other material (including e-material) submitted (English, French and German as well as other languages on an ad-hoc basis);
- determining translation priorities in collaboration with the services involved;
- providing minute-writing of official meetings;
- managing, as business owner, digital tools in support of language services (e.g. the Agency’s multilingual terminology database, ESA Termbase, computer- assisted translation tools, neural machine translation);
- organising interpretation services (English, French and German as well as other languages on an ad-hoc basis).
