Internship Opportunity in the Directorate of Navigation.Location NoordwijkOur team and missionThis position is based at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) – Noordwijk, NetherlandsThe mission of the ESA Directorate of Navigation is to lead and stimulate European industry in the design, development and procurement of the first ever European-owned Global Navigation Satellite Systems, delivering worldwide navigation services at unprecedented levels of performance. Through cooperation with the European community in the satellite navigation domain and active contribution to international GNSS forums, the Directorate of Navigation is continuously looking ahead and paving the way for future generations of satellite navigation systems.Candidates interested are encouraged to visit the ESA website:Field(s) of activity for the internshipTopic of the internship: NAV-S Internship in Cybersecurity Audits and Framework Integration for Space Navigation SystemsIn the Navigation Directorate’s activities, the Cybersecurity Audits play a major role in the security assurance process, contributing to the cybersecurity risks management associated to the organization and infrastructure, in particular of the navigation systems (e.g. Galileo) the directorate delivers to its customers. The Cybersecurity Audits are part of the European Space Security Policy for the Navigation Programs.You will be focused on a researching activity about the new Cybersecurity Frameworks, as the SLSA, in order to propose an integration solution with the current Cyber Internal Audit Framework used with the Industry.Behavioural competenciesResult Orientation

Additional requirementsThe working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required.
