The primary goal of the internship is to engage with universities to understand their technical needs, raise awareness of Renesas’ solutions, and develop customized platforms that will be provided to students and university laboratories. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about bridging academic and industry needs, and keen on developing platforms that will help shape the future of engineering education.Key Responsibilities:

  • University Collaboration Program Development: Lead the initiative to create and strengthen partnerships with academic institutions by understanding their technical requirements and integrating Renesas solutions.
  • Needs Assessment: Engage in discussions with university faculty, lab managers, and students to identify current gaps in resources, challenges, and specific areas of interest within their curricula.
  • Platform Development: Work closely with the Field Application Engineering team to design and develop several application platforms using Renesas’ microcontrollers, analog, and power solutions tailored for educational purposes.
  • Solution Demonstrations: Create user-friendly demonstration platforms for university labs that showcase Renesas’ products and solutions, making them accessible to students and researchers.
  • Awareness Campaigns: Assist in organizing workshops, webinars, and training sessions for university stakeholders to enhance awareness and adoption of Renesas technologies.
  • Documentation: Develop comprehensive user guides and documentation for the platforms, ensuring students and professors can utilize the solutions effectively.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Good understanding of microcontrollers, analog systems, and power management solutions.
  • Experience or coursework in embedded systems and hardware-software co-design.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for collaborating with academic institutions and developing educational platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with university staff and students.
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple responsibilities and maintaining attention to detail.
