In your daily work, you are proactive and make decisions swiftly based on your knowledge and expertise within the field, which ensures an efficient Communication and Interior Design function in the store. You truly know how to inspire the people around you with your ability to communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders to develop and grow your business area. You thrive when you can combine your sense of urgency with delivering high-quality work, and you do so with absolute ease. You have previous management experience within retail and home furnishing, through which you have developed a thorough understanding of the business, and the key performance measurements that are used to plan, follow up, and steer the business, while still using your creative mindset to come up with new, exciting solutions that attract and inspire the customers. Key responsibilities (title) A day in your life with usKey responsibilities (text) In this role, you will be a part of the IKEA Taastrup Management team, where you’ll play a key role in the development of our store. The overall purpose of the role is to lead, develop, and inspire the Communication and Interior Design team in increasing the home furnishing interest of many people and creating demand for home furnishing solutions and know-how in the local market. You will be overall responsible for the store layout, range representation, and store communication thereby contributing to positioning IKEA in the local area as a leader in life at home.You will have a variety of responsibilities, and you should expect to:
Team vision ( title) Together as a teamTeam vision (text) The Communication and Interior Design team in Taastrup consists of 2 managers, 1 team leader, and approx. 20 employees for which you are responsible. You will work with the rest of the store and management team both evenings and weekends, as part of our safety group. We believe in a workplace where we build on each other’s strengths, and where we co-create and work for the best solutions while having fun on the way. In the past, most of our customers came out to our store, but many things have changed, and we must now, more than ever, create great customer experiences regardless of how and when our customers want to shop with us.
