A day in your life with usIn this role, you will be a part of the IKEA Taastrup Management team, where you’ll play a key role in the development of our store. The overall purpose of the role is to lead, develop, and inspire the Communication and Interior Design team in increasing the home furnishing interest of many people and creating demand for home furnishing solutions and know-how in the local market. You will be overall responsible for the store layout, range representation, and store communication thereby contributing to positioning IKEA in the local area as a leader in life at home.You will have a variety of responsibilities, and you should expect to:

  • Partner with the store management team to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishing for all co-workers in the store.
  • Secure vitality and seasonality in the store by creating and implementing a store commercial calendar together with the store management team.
  • Lead and challenge the Communication and Interior Design team to constantly take actions that exploit commercial opportunities both in the short- and long-term.
  • Led the store Communication and Interior Design team in securing a relevant and inspiring range of presentation solutions, and an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition

Together as a TeamThe Communication and Interior Design team in Taastrup consists of 2 managers, 1 team leader, and approx. 20 employees for which you are responsible. You will work with the rest of the store and management team both evenings and weekends, as part of our safety group. We believe in a workplace where we build on each other’s strengths, and where we co-create and work for the best solutions while having fun on the way. In the past, most of our customers came out to our store, but many things have changed, and we must now, more than ever, create great customer experiences regardless of how and when our customers want to shop with us.

  • The position is on average 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary.
  • Working hours are between 8.00 AM – 9.00 PM Monday to Friday, and you should expect to work evenings and weekends as you are also part of the safety group for the store.
  • Salary within IKEA’s salary policy based on your competencies and including pension.
