Job description

We currently have a vacancy for an Integration Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks

• Design, plan, and implement integration strategies and patterns in a JEE/HTTP-secured ecosystem, and apply best practices of distributed architecture to solve complex integration problems between information systems;
• Design, implement, and document APIs to be exposed in a secured manner on a public-facing API Gateway;
• Plan business process definition and task definition (service or user tasks) relying on APIs and business events;
• Design, implement, and document business events to be easily produced on a corporate event-streaming platform and design architecture components and building blocks;
• Work in a container-based infrastructure and analyze the integration of different information systems.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience;
• Excellent knowledge of at least one BPMN workflow engine, as well as integration testing best practices;
• Good knowledge of HTTP and API design, JEE and REST or SOAP APIs, and asynchronous communication and publish/subscribe techniques and technologies, such as Apache Kafka, JMS;
• Good knowledge of Web security, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, distributed or microservice architectures, and complex event processing;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Relational DBMS, and business process analysis;
• Proven experience in RUP methodology (preferably for Web-based applications);
• Experienced with Developer 11g, BPMN 2.0 standard, activity workflow engine, WSP (WS-Security Policies), and Oracle Service Bus 10.3 would be considered an advantage;
• Excellent command of the English language.
