As such, you will lead and manage investor relationships and fundraising activities. Working very closely with our investment & product teams you will also have a very active role in the design and implementation of the product strategy and distribution pipeline for Santander Alternatives.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:– In coordination with our investment and product teams support the strategizing, planning, and execution of fundraisings, including market analysis, preparation of all fund marketing materials and legal and fund structuring and partnership-formation with various providers.– Support the development and execution of formal fundraising pitches and roadshows.– Expand the firm’s network of global investor relationships. Build strong and long-lasting relationships with key investors and managers in target organizations.– Attend key investor conferences and events, acting as spokesperson for the firm.– Have a deep knowledge about investors’ commercial situation.– Prepare and implement documentation for clients/investors in line with internal compliance, legal, and audit requirements.– Maintain professional knowledge, market updates, industry developments, and competitor’s activities.– Contribute to the firm´s key strategic initiatives by providing regular feedback on new and existing products, market trends and investor´s preferences or needs.– Have an active role on promoting Santander´s Private Markets capabilities in Spain and eventually in some other European Markets.EXPERIENCE– 10+ years with experience in several of the following aspects:1. Demostrated track record in capital raising activities in Asset Management, Private Equity, Private Banking or Placement agent firms.2. Deep knowledge and understanding of Private Markets strategies: PE, PD, Infrastructure & RE.3. Strong relationship and access to key Institutional and Private Banking/Wealth Management networks in Spain (besides Santander Group)– Deep understanding of the Spanish Market and strong relationship with key decision makers at Institutional investors, Private Banks, and Wealth Managers.– International experience and strong relationships in fundraising activities with Institutional investors and Wealth Managers in the rest of European countries will be a plus.– Previous experience servicing investment Consultants and LPs– Proven experience in product management and product development activities.EDUCATIONBachelor of Sciences, MBA or PHD at renowned universities in the subjects of Business Administration, Economics, Financial Analysis, Statistics, Mathematics, or other Engineering studies with demostrable professional experience in finance.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE– Solid international experience (preferred).– Excellent oral and written communication skills.– Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Alternative Investments (PE, PD, Infrastructure & RE)– Deep understanding about the Alternative business ecosystem and fundrasing activities.– Must be proficient in English and Spanish.– Used to deal with complexity at global leading financial institutions.– Strategic thinker.– Strong networking capabilities (internal & external partners).– Self-motivated.If you want to know more about us, follow us on
