Offer DescriptionDirector of Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute announces a competition for the scientific position:the Department of Gastroenterology, Allergology and Pediatrics – scientific discipline – medicine.The purpose of the competition is to fill the position of full-time scientific professor of the institute with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Department of Gastroenterology, Allergology and Pediatrics. The candidate should have a scientific title of professor or a postdoctoral degree, a medical degree, a specialization in accordance with the specifics of the clinic, knowledge of the English language. In connection with the simultaneous scientific function within the research institute, it is necessary, in addition to the above requirements, for the candidate to have scientific achievements documented by publications.Candidates are asked to submit the following documents:1. Application addressed to the Director of the Institute for admission to the scientific position of professor with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Department of Oncological Surgery and Breast Diseases.2. Certified copies of documents confirming professional qualifications.3. Certified copies of documents confirming the academic title held.4. Current curriculum vitae including the course of professional work and scientific career (including participation in the implementation of scientific research projects).5. A list of publications confirmed by the Scientific Library of the ICZMP (according to the layout given below).6. Bibliometric evaluation of published scientific output for the last 5 years including Hirsch index, carried out and confirmed by the Scientific Library of the ICZMP.7. Number and list of citations published in impacted journals in the last 5 years.8. Plans for scientific development including application for research funds from external sources (with particular emphasis on EU funds).9. The candidate’s statement of knowledge of the English language.10. Statement of consent to process personal data for recruitment purposes.11. In the case of signing a contract of employment, it is necessary to submit statements, information and certificates of no criminal record from the National Criminal Register referred to in Article 21 et seq. Law of May 13, 2016 on Counteracting the Threat of Sexual Crime and Protection of Minors (Journal of Laws 2023.1304 t.j.) no later than the date of signing the contract.The list of publications (chronologically):1. Original, full-text scientific papers (excluding congress and conference abstracts, papers in journal supplements, letters to the editor, and the participation of the author listed in the appendix as a participant in multi-center studies.2. Case reports.3. Review papers.4. Chapters in textbooks– international– national5. Popular-scientific and other works.6. Abstracts from congresses:– international– national.7. Full-text publications in journal supplements.8. Letters to the editors of journals.9.
