• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design, plan, and deliver inspiring English lessons across the curriculum.
• Develop Literacy Skills: Foster students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Prepare for Success: Prepare students for success in relevant English qualifications, such as GCSE, A-Level, and the IB Diploma.
• Foster a Love of Literature: Encourage students to explore a wide range of texts and develop a critical appreciation of literary elements.
• Contribute to the Department: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and contribute to the overall success of the English department.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national requirements and best practices.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and trends.
