Job DescriptionABOUT THIS JOBThe role will be data-driven and analytical support for global and local clients from FMCG and Tech & Durables industries. An Insight Analyst will be in support of one or several clients, working with internal stakeholders from client-facing NIQ teams, operating as part of a broader international community, working towards a common goal of supporting the clients in achieving their strategic business objectives thanks to insights & recommendations that are critical to our clients’ success.RESPONSIBILITIESSupporting internal NIQ stakeholders (Consultants, Account Development, local Insights Teams etc.) in their day-to-day work with the client by:Building a strong partnership with your internal clients to make an impact delivering best in class projects, managing expectations and priorities following the aligned ways of workingFocusing on stakeholder satisfaction and cultivating productive, long-term connectionsFostering a strong understanding of your clients’ business prioritiesExecuting projects by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting sales data and consumer data, writing client reports, and building presentations.Summarizing data in tables, charts, and graphs, reviewing data for errors and inconsistencies.Drafting reports and presentations with simple data interpretation (category overview as well as issue-based).Sharing and actively searching for best practice examples and implementing the approach in their own work whenever possible.Supporting other team members during client meetings and presentationsContributing to the team mission by participation in strategic internal projects (coaching, championship, analytical or soft-skills projects)QualificationsA LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUFor this business crucial role, you will have to possess strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. You will make a difference by helping some of the largest FMCG or T&D clients make the right choices for their growth strategies. You will partner with your colleagues to support the clients in discovering what is happening with their brands and what they should do to improve business performance. You like working with numbers and finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient. Managing time and deadlines comes naturally to you. You want to understand how your work impacts your team and your clients, you are curious, engaged, and accountable.QUALIFICATIONSUniversity degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related fieldTotal 1-3 years of experience in the FMCG, Retail, or T&D industry and/or related sales, category management, market research, data analyticsKnowledge of NielsenIQ and/or GfK data and systems would be considered as an advantageAn aptitude & desire to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders, while being open to a client-facing role in futureStrong numerical confidence, data visualization skills, and ability to translate numbers into clear insights and recommendationsVery good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, conditional functions, conditional formatting, chart building, and formatting), PowerPointFluent communication in English – verbal and written (at least C1 level)Knowledge of French, German, or Italian is an assetExcellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on timeStrong interpersonal skills in a multicultural settingAbility to work both independently and as a team playerComfortable working in a virtual environmentInterest in the FMCG and/or T&D industryAdditional InformationOur Benefits
