This position is part of the EMEA-based commercial team reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEA & APAC and be will fully remote. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be responsible for growing research grade/pre-clinical business with clients in the cell and gene therapy industry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Uncover new business both in existing and new accounts by identifying potential opportunities, reaching out to potential clients, identifying their needs and building relationships based on quality and trust.
• Support inbound client questions via the website by introducing clients to Aldevron’s capabilities and qualifying opportunities prior to introducing clients to the local business development manager and technical sales specialist.
• Partner with business development, marketing and technical sales to grow regional business and achieve/exceed your quota.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a client-facing role such as sales, customer service, or technical support
• 1 year of experience at the lab bench with hands-on experience using DNA, RNA, or proteins

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Using a CRM such as Hubspot or Salesforce
• An understanding of the cell and gene therapy market landscape
• Previous experience of identifying new business opportunities
