Your day at NTT DATA
The Inside Sales Client Manager has basic relevant inside sales experience. The primary objective of this role is to manage and grow relationships and drive expansion and renewals across all solutions (foundational solutions primary) within assigned accounts.
The Inside Sales Client Manager mines for new sales opportunities within an assigned account list and has a proactive and systematic approach to working through the assigned account list. This is done by leveraging company tools and methodologies to understand the client’s implicit and explicit needs.
The Inside Sales Client Manager is a transactional role that is focused on current clients with the opportunity to engage through programmatic use cases and digital channels.
What you’ll be doing
40% account management : managing own client projects
40% lead generation
20% Reporting & Monitoring & Forecasting
Lead Generation
Hunting for new projects via cold/warm calling
Bant qualifying leads
Calling clients designated to you to find new projects
Calling clients designated to you related to Marketing campaigns/ social media activity etc
Account Management
Being first point of contact for the customers
Managing and growing relationships of associated accounts
Taking ownership of the assigned accounts on specific sector
Understanding customer requirements and providing the right support/products
First point of referral for queries or issues
Following up the orders/ deliveries/ operational issues
Following up the customer requests
Achieving the given targets by providing the correct solution for the client, solving issues
Working together with all the different stakeholders internally if needed to provide the best configuration of products/ maintenance/ support for the client
Working closely with presales and other internal teams
Driving client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients’ buying process
Providing quotes to customers
Working closely with appropriate channel partners to develop & close business opportunities.
Working closely with vendors to achieve required results (obtaining discounts etc.)
Managing vendor costs vs margin
Reporting & Monitoring
Using NTT’s sales tools and methodology to effectively manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecast.
Forecasting in a timely manner within company guideline
Providing overall customer service
Organizing and preparing customer meetings
Ideal profile
You are autonomous, organised, punctual and have a sense of responsibility.
You are customer-oriented, communicatively strong, and persistent.
You are a team player, driven to achieve results.
A first experience in sales is a must (between 1 and 3 years)
Knowledge of IT is a plus.
Experience in cold calling, business development, hunting & prospecting is a plus.
You hold passion, initiative, respect, and professionalism in high regard.
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or are equivalent through experience.
You have a very good knowledge of Dutch complemented by a good knowledge of English.
You want to grow into an external sales position within a maximum of 3 years.
