  • Degree in Scientific subjects (eg. IMS, Pharmacy, CTF, Biotecnology,Biology) with knowledge of clinical nutrition, preferential title enteral nutrition and related topics

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Delegate / ISF / Sales Representative

  • Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English

Position Summary

Within the Nestlé Health Science Italian team, we are looking for a persuasive medical representative to promote and sell company clinical nutrition to phsyicians, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.

The medical representative’s responsibilities include convincing potential customers to purchase company clinical nutrition, identifying prospective business opportunities for the company and providing the relevant departments with customer feedback.

You will also be part of all relevant congresses and events.

To be successful as a medical representative, you should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and selling skills and build rapports with potential customers.

A day in the life…

  • Selling the company’s clinical nutrition to physicians, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.

  • Provide up-to-date and accurate information about Nestlé Health Science products to hospital physicians, pharmacists and nurses.

  • Scheduling appointments with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote company products.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and hospital staff.

  • Organizing educational Hospital Meeting to provide information about our products.

  • Researching competitor’s products and their respective market performances.

  • Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company’s business strategies.

  • Collect and analyze feedback from healthcare professionals to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective strategies.

What will make you successful?

  • Master’s degree in Nutrition (preferred), life sciences, or related sector.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong negotiation and selling skills.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Persuasive and resilient.

  • Ability to travel independently and frequently.
