Join Gallo as an Information Security Threat Analyst and become a key player in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber threats to safeguard our data and systems from potential security breaches and attacks.In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential threats to our applications and systems, recommending mitigation strategies based on industry best practices and security frameworks such as the OWASP Top Ten Project and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. You will gather data from various sources including internal network logs, open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media, dark web forums, and commercial threat feeds using both automated tools and manual methods.Your analytical skills will be crucial as you process and filter collected data to identify relevant threats and vulnerabilities. By adopting standards and frameworks like the Cyber Threat Intelligence Model (CTIM) and MITRE ATT&CK, you will structure intelligence data and align it with Gallo’s security requirements, ensuring our technology stack is configured according to industry standards and best practices.You will evaluate the relevance of analyzed data in the context of Gallo’s specific industry, size, and location, prioritizing threats and determining appropriate responses. Sharing threat intelligence with stakeholders, including IT teams and management, will enable a unified approach to combating cyber threats. Regular monitoring of Gallo’s network and systems for signs of compromise will be key in detecting threats early and taking appropriate action to mitigate them.You will review penetration test results, provide remediation recommendations, and contribute to the Security Awareness Program to ensure current threats are addressed in trainings. Conducting periodic security tests, developing incident response plans, and participating in disaster recovery planning are also essential parts of your role.
