You will be part of an international environment with ambitious and dedicated colleagues who are passionate about what they do and supported to be themselves.Together, let’s shape the future and create real value for society, one innovative solution at a time.Your MissionThis is an opportunity to shape the future of Mercell and grow the Trust & Security Assurance Function.As an Information Security Assurance Manager at Mercell, you will be part of the Trust & Security team and report to the Director of Trust & Security. We are a team of four professionals responsible for ensuring information security. We support technical, sales, and operational teams to achieve information security related objectives on a global scale. You will be responsible for shaping the Customer Assurance and run a green field initiative to implement a functional assurance program.Core Responsibilities

  • Establish the assurance program.
  • Select and deploy a tool for knowledge management.
  • Work with customer facing teams to lubricate the security assurance process within the sales pipeline.
  • Undertake other information security duties as required by the company e.g.: Assist in audits (ISO27001, SOC 2, ISAE3000).
  • Run small-works and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Information security management experience: This includes experience with risk assessment, compliance with industry standards, and developing security policies and procedures.
  • Customer assurance experience: This involves ensuring customers that their data is secure and that services are reliable, as well as handling any security concerns or incidents efficiently.
  • Project management skills: This includes planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards.
  • Process development skills: This includes analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Experience defining metrics and measures: This includes setting measurable goals, tracking progress, and using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Good communicator
  • Not afraid to do the legwork with stakeholders and interested parties
  • Servant leader style of management
  • Good at working in green-field environments with minimal supervision

Duration: Contractor
Workplace type: Flexible working hours / Fully remote / Hybrid working optional if located near hubs.
Location: May be based in the following where Mercell has a legal entity such as Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, UK and Finland
