Industrialization Senior Manager in Louvain-Neuve, Belgium

As a Industrialization Senior Manager on our site in Louvain-la-Neuve, you will be in charge of a team of three people. This position works closely with stakeholders such as Quality and SHE, R&D, our Commercial teams and the Sampling team.

Your mission

• Facilitate and contribute to the Firmenich Global Product Industrialization strategy by ensuring successful launch of new products including review of processes and production equipment observing all required HS&E, Quality and Business standards – • Act as working manager of a small team – Local representative & key contact person for Product Industrialization • Demonstrated expertise in a specialized competency such as expertise developed through experience in product technology and/or improvement project management• Coordinate improvement initiatives and execute actions relevant to PI – Demonstrates Outstanding Presentation skills in order to deliver compelling, engaging, transformative, educational, and/or instructive messages• Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within deadlines and cost efficiency

You bring

• MA degree of Science Chemistry, Food Science, or equivalent confirmed expertise gained through experience • 10 years min related experience in a manufacturing environment with confirmed ability to drive projects – Food/ Flavors industry preferred• Demonstrate ability to lead and engage peers as well as influence within different level of the organization – Successfully works in a matrix organization and easily adapts to a fast-paced environment• Demonstrates strong Analytical skills with ability to solve problems• Familiar with Manufacturing practices, process safety analysis (PHA) and Job safety Analysis (JSA)• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills- Proficient in spoken and written English as well as in French• SAP knowledge a plus
