Magellan’s goal is to simplify, standardize and modernize our core business processes, enabling BSC to better leverage the power of data and to position our business for profitable and sustainable growth.Because of this implementation, the Engineering team of our Distribution Center in Kerkrade needs to prepare and execute many process changes in compliance with the applicable change management processes. E.g. Warehouse processes need to be adjusted. work instructions need to be updated, FMEA’s need to be reviewed and updated and software might need to be (re)validated. All these tasks need to be completed in a limited timeframe to have a successful go-live S4/HANA.In this role you will collaborate closely with the Coreteam Engineers, and you will report to the Supervisor Industrial Engineering.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Coreteam Engineers in Engineering activities related to process changes.
- Review current processes and propose new processes based on the changes in the ERP system
- Perform general engineering tasks, which may include updating standards, performing time studies, documenting processes, and creating and approving change requests.
- Demonstrates good working knowledge and application of PFMEA’s, validation and qualification requirements.
- Active engagement in go-live activities
- Fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing with other key Magellan resources on site.
- Ensure Safety and Quality, improve Service and reduce Cost.
- Actively engage in delivering local training
Who are we looking for:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an engineer.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Energetic team player with result driven mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Supply chain experience is an advantage.
- Experience in the field of medical devices is an advantage.
- SAP experience is an advantage.
