Eriksholm Research Centre, a part of Oticon, is seeking an industrial postdoc candidate to join our scientific team. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled candidate to carry out independent research within multisensory communication behaviour. Eriksholm has research facilities that include EEG, Ear-EEG, motion capture, eye-tracking, fNIRS, speech testing, a large anechoic chamber with speaker array, and a fully supported clinic and audiological facility. Being part of a large hearing healthcare company, Eriksholm offers the opportunity to bring research ideas closer to impact the life of people with hearing loss.Shape the Future of Multisensory Communication SolutionsThe postdoc opportunity is funded through the industrial Postdoc program of the Innovation Foundation of Denmark and therefore limited to candidates who received their PhD within the last 5 years. This is an industrial postdoc position together with Hearing Systems Group at the Department of Health Technology, Technical University of Denmark. The candidate’s main working place will be Eriksholm Research Centre, but some work is likely to be carried out at the Technical University of Denmark (Kongens Lyngby, Denmark). This is a temporary full-time position for 2.5 years.What we are looking for:The ideal candidate has a PhD, completed withing the past 5 years, in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, experimental psychology, audiology, cognitive science, physics, or a related field.You will have a significant interest in interdisciplinary and application-oriented work, supported by successful collaboration with researchers, technical and clinical staff outside of your main discipline.Qualifications:

  • Proficient in programming and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with hearing science.
  • Experience with behavioral and physiological measures, preferably in multisensory speech communication.
  • Demonstrated research prowess with several first-author publications in respected academic journals and conferences.
  • Prior success in supervising students to degree completion.
  • Proven track record of presenting research at esteemed international institutions and conferences, with excellent English language skills.
  • Danish language proficiency is not mandatory, but a willingness to learn is advantageous for future endeavors.
