This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Novo Nordisk’s Indirect Tax Team and take on substantial responsibility from day one in a position where accuracy and structure help protect the business and ultimately impact patients worldwide.

Your new role

This isn’t a typical student position. As our new Indirect Tax Student Assistant, you’ll take on significant responsibility and gain insight into different indirect tax areas while managing processes with real business impact. You’ll be trusted with critical compliance work where attention to detail truly matters. Your key responsibilities will include:

-Accounting for the purchase and use of ethanol, a key responsibility
where attention to detail matters to avoid mistakes related to duties, taxes, and penalties
-Ensuring the accounting for the purchase and use of ethanol process runs smoothly
-Maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes
-Handling ad hoc VAT-related tasks and projects
-Handling administrative tasks that support the broader tax function
 

The position is 18-25 hours per week (flexible around your study schedule) and is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a disciplined and ambitious student who thrives on responsibility and approaches complex tasks with structure and precision. You are:

-Currently pursuing your bachelor’s degree (final year) or beginning your master’s degree, preferably with university-level training in taxation
-Highly proficient in Excel with strong data analysis capabilities being comfortable working with large datasets and extracting meaningful insights
-Structured and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
-Highly ambitious and driven to succeed with the ability to manage your time effectively between studies and work
-A loyal and dependable team member who can work independently and autonomously while knowing when to seek guidance
-Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Salary
: For this position, the hourly pay will be 205,17 DKK.
