Including ensuring implementation of the advice and be responsible for ensuring proper VAT treatment of specific transactions and set-up in LEO.You will also lead M&A or alike activities from a VAT perspective and be responsible for designing and ensuring process for consumptions tax reporting.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of VAT and excise duties.
• Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the company
• Drive and set the agenda for certain VAT optimization projects
• Develop and enforce tax policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Drive initiatives to enhance our global compliance footprint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax compliance into business operations.
• Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and their impact on the business.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external tax audits.
• Train and mentor junior staff on indirect tax matters.

Your qualificationsTo succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• Master degree and 5+ years of experience within VAT
• A somewhat knowledge about excise duties.
• Pharma business knowledge is a benefit
• Good at networking, planning, align with relevant stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player with strong collaboration abilities
• Strong analytical skills
