We offer you a working environment where your communication skills are valued and where you can think about how things can be done better and differently.For our location in Boxmeer we are looking for a: Improvement Engineer (Green Belt)The departmentThe production facilities in Boxmeer are part of our global animal health production network and manufacture and package animal health products according to GMP standards (Good Manufacturing Practice). We work according to our Production System (MPS), which is based on Lean Six Sigma and inclusion principles. The production organization in Boxmeer consists of several Integrated Process Teams (IPT’s) and Centers of Excellence (CoE’s). The activities of the IPT Live cover the manufacture of live vaccines. Within the department, the Improvement Team (15 FTE) is engaged in the transfer of new production processes to the factory and proactive and reactive improvements of the production processes.Purpose of the roleUnder the direction of the Improvement Lead Live, the Improvement Engineer Live Vaccines plays a key role in leading improvement projects.ResponsiblitiesAssure effective application of Lean, Six Sigma, Inclusion and Change Management concepts by demonstrating them in improvement initiatives and by coaching practitioners.Support the manufacturing department (IPT Live) in achieving its business results by initiating, leading and participating in business improvement initiatives.Lead or support investigations on compliance or business issues, identifying the root-cause and defining corrective and preventive actions.Collaborate with peers in the department to share Best-Practices.Use metrics and data to identify, analyze and prioritize both technical as well as business problems and opportunities.Your profileBachelor or academic degreeCertified Green Belt.Proven Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.Project management skills & proven ability to manage projects.Customer focused, process oriented and data driven.Passion for Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.Good oral and reporting skills in English and preferable also DutchWhat we offer
