What does an Import Administrator do?

The Import Administrator ensures compliance with customs regulations for all import activities in Germany, primarily supporting our spare parts business based in Switzerland. This role is critical for maintaining accurate customs documentation and audit readiness. You will manage data collection, verify customs clearances, and perform post-import audits to ensure adherence to applicable rules and standards.

-Strong in communication, with fluency in English (mandatory) and proficiency in German (preferred).
-Technically skilled, with advanced Excel knowledge and familiarity with Smartsheet and SAP.
-Independent and self-driven, comfortable working remotely with high autonomy while building strong relationships across teams.
-Flexible and adaptable to evolving tasks and responsibilities.
-Your ability to combine precision with initiative will help us maintain flawless compliance and strengthen our trade operations.

Qualifications
-Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
-Strong command of English (written and spoken); German proficiency is a plus.
-Skilled in Excel; knowledge of Smartsheet and SAP is advantageous.
-Experience in customs administration or import/export processes preferred.
-Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
