• 39 Hours, working 5 days per week and alternate weekends.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

• Prior food, customer service and leadership experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, and lead by example.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Food Team Leader, you will work with your team to create a safe, healthy, sustainable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.

• You will be responsible for ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, attractive, and inviting. You also ensure our products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.
• Being passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• You contribute and support the implementation of the store Business Plan and IKEA Food action plan.
• Promoting a safety-first culture, as well as coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.
