We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.For our Fluxys Digital departement at our office in Brussels (near to Central Station and subway, ) we’re looking for an ICT Business Analyst (m/f/x).Fluxys Digital designs, develops and manages all of the company’s IT systems and is therefore responsible for all commercial, functional, technical and application aspects. Our application base works in multiple data centres and in the cloud, and is accessible on multiple devices. We also develop our own series of gas flow management products, which we market and for which we provide operational support. Our in-house developments are combined with standard products, cloud applications and Office 365 services.Job
purposeAs an ICT Business Analyst, your role will be essential in identifying and designing future systems aligned with the needs of our business. You will start your adventure at Fluxys in the Architecture department, where you will be actively involved in all activities pertaining to solution architecture, such as logic design, solution definition and integration design for our company’s future systems. After a period of six months to two years, depending on the needs of the department as well as your aspirations and skills, you will have the opportunity to evolve towards a specific application department: GFM (Gas Flow Management, support for commercial operating activities for infrastructure), AM (Asset Management, support for infrastructure management activities, such as pipelines), GA (General Applications, support for other company activities), or Accelerator (implementation of innovative ideas).My steep learning curve motivates me and keeps me here– Nick Rys, Product ManagerYour
respon­sibilities

• You will collect and document business and user requirements, develop detailed specifications and create workflow diagrams
• You will clarify and refine needs with stakeholders and will facilitate discussions to ensure shared understanding
• You will support the development of solutions using agile methods
• Tests and Validation: You will actively take part in tests to validate solutions and collaborate with quality managers
• You will collect user feedback to improve solutions
• You will liaise between teams and work hand in hand with the business

• You hold a master’s degree in computer science, science, applied science, business engineering, economics, management or another field, but you show a marked interest in computer science
• You have at least one initial experience working as a business analyst or in a similar role
• You have an inquiring mind, you are eager to learn and understand how Fluxys works and you intuitively know how to leverage this knowledge so that it impacts your work
• You have above-average thinking skills, you can see the big picture beyond your individual role and you understand how your role fits into the organisation as a whole

• You demonstrate excellent analytical skills, enabling you to understand and tackle complex situations
