JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Project Manager will join the team implementing the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF). The MPF is a European Union (EU) funded initiative supporting the external dimension of EU migration policy. The MPF aims to strengthen dialogue and cooperation on migration and mobility between Member States and priority partner countries outside the EU. The MPF has four components: Grants, Technical Assistance & Support, Dialogues and Knowledge Management & Communication.

This Senior Project Manager position will focus on the design, delivery and supervision of the MPF’s Technical Assistance and Support (TAS) portfolio as that evolves and develops. This component is delivered by ICMPD directly at the request of DG HOME or that of an EU Member State with DG HOME’s approval.

The Senior Project Manager position reports to the MPF Senior Project Coordinator. The MPF is part of the Global Initiatives Unit of ICMPD based in the Brussels Mission.

In addition to the languages listed in the job profile, fluent French (written and oral) is essential with Spanish or Arabic an advantage. ​
