You will be part of setting up the cash and cost management for the standalone ice cream company. You will ensure end to end cost control across Brand & Marketing Investment, Overheads, Restructuring and Capex.Key responsibilities:
- Own and continuously improve the Credit Control.
- Effective cooperation with debt insurance and factoring providers, including policy service, reporting and issue resolution.
- Cash collection escalation and monitoring of IBM work (collection) and proactive action to minimize the overdue debt position.
- Bad Debt provision calculation and booking, court cases assistance to legal.
- Lead Debtors Meeting – a monthly meeting with the Finance Director covering analyses of overdue position by Top customers and to agree improvement actions.
- Reporting of overdue position via weekly scorecards to internal stakeholders and cooperation with global O2C Team.
- Own and control Customer master data for Payment Terms and control over the contracts with customer conditions.
- Own and perform the process of order release blocked to overlimit or overdue.
- Own and perform GFCF Controls applicable to Credit Control processes and participate in audits & FCA assessments.
- Coordinate/participate in projects within Credit Control area resulting from change of law or other requirements of business (such as Gridlock Payments reporting).
- Build capability and understanding across the ice cream team (finance and non-finance) in managing cash.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDExperience
- Solid experience in Credit Control processes.
- Finance university degree.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent in English – written and verbal communication.
- Ambitious and pro-active attitude with hands on approach.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse, interpret and communicate data.
- Strong written, and verbal communication and influencing skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with various stakeholders.
- Experience and awareness of working in multicultural and multilocation teams.
