Here you play a vital part taking charge of test and verification of the low power hearing chipsets we design.The automated test environment is a key component in ensuring characterisation of our custom ICs for medical applications. You will play a key role in making sure the environment keeps IC verification efficient and that it can be kept both automated and validated.At GN Hearing, we are known for great sound quality, design and technology excellence as well as meaningful solutions that help people with hearing challenges rediscover hearing.ReSound, which is part of GN Hearing, was the first company launching a made-for-iPhone® hearing aid, and we are working on new and award-winning solutions. And at our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our IC team that develops chipsets and creates leading edge ICsThe team you will be part ofIn the IC team, you will join 30 specialist development engineers that combine talents to make life sound better through innovative low power chipsets. We work well together and continuously give each other feedback, cooperating closely to bring forward the best results. Becoming a member of this dynamic team of specialists, you get to bring your expertise and experience in test and verification into play.The IC team is developing an automated IC test environment within a Python framework based on PyMeasure. With standard plotting/data processing based on Pandas. Custom libraries are created to implement drivers to instrumentation and proprietary test hardware for which also requires development of firmware from time to timeYour contribution is appreciated, and you will be:

  • Further developing the software test environment
  • Firmware development for our test hardware
  • Ensuring the test environment is validated through a maintained test harness
  • Introduction of new features to the test environment to improve IC verification reports
  • Support for new instrumentation to the test environment as required
  • Configuration management of the test environment
  • Developing test scripts enabling execution of automated verification test for our ICs.

To succeed in the role:We value your open personality and your excellent interpersonal and communicational skills. You will have a degree in electronics/software development with a keen interest in interfacing to hardware and test systems.Furthermore, you have solid experience with:

  • Python programming
  • Object orientated programming
  • C/embedded programming
