We are looking for a Hygiene Operator to join a food business based in Norwich, who pride themselves on producing high quality produce whilst minimising environmental impact and reducing food waste.

With their farms fast developing, focusing on the future of farming, there is room for progression and development within the business for the right individual.

What you will be doing:

• Working alongside the Operations Teams to ensure smooth running of the production
• Organising and arranging PPE across the business
• Chemical handling
• Laundry service
• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
• Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through testing of samples
• Deep cleaning of production areas
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
• Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
• The ability to work effectively under pressure of time
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager

You will need to be:

• A flexible team player
• Able to work in a busy fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work the occasional weekend (these will be on a rota basis)
• A conscientious individual who has strong attention to detail
• Experience in a hygiene role with chemical handling (essential)
• Experience within the food industry (ideally)
• Willing to learn and be trained in all aspects of the business as required

It is a split shift pattern:

• 6am-2pm
• 10am-2pm
• There will also be weekend work based on a rota

Salary: £24,000
