Humanities Teacher Sought for Esteemed Oxford Secondary SchoolWe are pleased to present a unique opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Oxford. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers the chance to make a significant contribution to the school’s thriving Humanities department.Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging Humanities lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Develop a comprehensive and stimulating curriculum that fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for history, geography, and related subjects.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Humanities department and across the school to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current educational trends and research in the Humanities field.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Humanities subject (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • A proven track record of successful teaching experience at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for the Humanities and a commitment to inspiring students
