As the HR Officer, you will play a key role in managing non-field HR operations under the supervision of the HR Manager. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Coordinate the recruitment process for non-field team positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks.
- Ensure that recruitment activities comply with applicable labor law and IMPACT-CSRD’s recruiting policies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure effective and timely hiring processes.
Onboarding and Employee Integration:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all required documentation is completed, with specific attention to local legal requirements (e.g., applicable labor law where necessary).
- Support the development and implementation of consistent onboarding systems.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for non-field team staff, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in handling employee relations issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions, in accordance with applicable labor law and IMPACT-CSRD policies.
- Provide support in organizing training and development programs for non-field team members.
HR Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records for non-field team staff, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies, including applicable labor law.
- Conduct regular audits of HR files and documents to ensure compliance with applicable labor law and IMPACT-CSRD standards globally.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process for non-field team staff, including the collection of performance reviews and assisting managers in providing constructive feedback.
- Track employee performance and assist in identifying areas for improvement and development for non-field team members.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives specific to the non-field team context, as directed by the HR Manager.
- Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to discussions on improving HR practices for non-field team members.
Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of general HR experience, preferably within NGOs.
- Strong knowledge of applicable labor laws (e.g., OECD member countries) and HR best practices.
- Experience in handling employee relations and resolving workplace conflicts in line with labor laws.
- Ability to support performance appraisal processes and provide constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and conducting HR audits.
- Proficiency in HRIS and leveraging HR data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in recruitment and selection processes.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Arabic and/or German is highly desirable.
