This exciting role will be responsible for supporting the office, Human Capital & Talent department, and the firm by using their experience and understanding of the legislative, judicial, and competitive market landscape, while providing HR advice and guidance to stakeholders on a range of complex HR matters, including employee relations and performance management. This role will be located in our Brussels office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications:Other key responsibilities include:

• In conjunction with firm leadership, developing and implementing the Human Capital & Talent strategy for the relevant office; working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on firm policies, procedures, and best practices; ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures and laws and regulations as required
• Ensuring successful implementation of strategic Human Capital & Talent initiatives
• Overseeing the implementation of Human Capital & Talent operational projects, providing advice and guidance where necessary to ensure projects are delivered successfully and by required deadlines
• Working closely with Staff Development & Training to identify training opportunities for the office, helping design and conduct training and development programmes and supporting the development, implementation, and assessment of ongoing training programs

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Display the ability to understand and apply knowledge of local employment laws
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of traditional human resources functions
• Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to lead a team (i.e., organising, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
• Are fluent in written and spoken French and English; and some understanding of Dutch (B2/C1), preferably

And have:

• A bachelor’s degree; focus in human resources or a related field , preferably; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Progressively responsible human resources experience
• Experience implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures, preferably
