The position

As HRBP within the People & Organization department, you will coordinate and control the department operational and administrative processes, providing active support to the HR Director in all kinds of HR relevant tasks, initiatives, and projects.
 

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

-Be the point of contact for employees’ requests, as well as liaising with external vendors, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of questions.
-Be responsible for HR administrative activities and operational tasks. You will support on training, logistics, vendor search, communication, authorities’ reports, employees’ absences and holidays, staff meetings and events…
-Provide the support regarding labour law such as contracts or labour agreements, reviewing of payroll (absence management, all kinds of compensations) and be the main contact person to external payroll provider
-Support on the optimisation and implementation of local HR policies, processes and projects in the employee life cycle: recruitment, internship program campaign, onboarding, learning & development, culture & engagement, exit process.
-Support the implementation of local and Novo Nordisk occupational health and safety requirements. Administer health and life insurance programs, plan, follow up and schedule the medical appointments, work accidents report and H&S audits and training
 

Qualifications

-Previous experience in an HR role (ideally +2 years) managing a wide range of tasks and with deep understanding of Employee Relations and Belgian Labour Law.
-Solid command of Microsoft Office package (excel, PowerPoint….)
-Fluency in English, both written and spoken. You are also fluent in French or in Dutch. Ideally, you are fluent in the 3 languages.
As a person, you are proactive, dynamic and resolutive. To succeed in the role you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust among different stakeholders and collaborators. You are also able to navigate different priorities and manage your agenda to deliver on time and with the expected quality.

You will be part of the Belgian affiliate, joining the HR department, reporting directly to its Director. Under this role, you will get to collaborate and support all Novo Nordisk Belgian employees.
