Job title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) – MillerKnoll Europe
Location: Paris

Job summary
This role will support the HR Director in delivering strategic and operational HR initiatives across multiple European countries, with a primary focus on France and neighbouring regions. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with local labour laws while aligning with global HR policies.
Based in Paris this position will require travel across our European locations and the UK
Specific responsibilities
- Provide advice to managers and employees on a range of HR topics and support with queries and issues.
- Deliver HR administrative support across European hubs, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance. Assist with contractual changes and resolve related issues.
- Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR systems, and ensure compliance with GDPR and local regulations.
- Support payroll, compensation, and benefits processes with monthly checks and ad-hoc assistance.
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes, including initial investigations, compiling documentation, supporting hearings, and guiding outcomes. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation across European jurisdictions, with a strong focus on France
- Review and update policies and procedures for all jurisdictions in line with legislative changes, ensuring effective communication of updates. Policy Implementation: Support the rollout of global HR initiatives and adapt them to local requirements.
- Support recruitment activities as needed, including coordination and administrative tasks.
- Support managers with performance issues, ensuring PIPs are implemented and managed effectively.
- Advise managers on absence-related issues and manage the occupational health process, including organizing appointments and implementing recommendations.
- Work to improve and monitor engagement, initiating ideas and projects where possible.
- Learning & Development: Coordinate training programs and development opportunities for employees.
- Work closely with the HR teams to deliver consistent HR support across Europe. Initiate and implement HR projects as agreed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in an international or European context.
- Knowledge of French labour law; additional European employment law knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and French (additional European languages desirable).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
