We are looking for an HR Privacy Partner to join our Privacy team in Copenhagen to support the HR function in ensuring privacy compliance.The bridge between the business and the privacy team
As a Privacy Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the HR function has the necessary support on privacy related matters. You will work with key stakeholders in the business function on driving the privacy agenda so that current and future initiatives are privacy compliant.The Privacy Partner is the bridge between the business and the privacy team. You will be the natural go-to person for the rest of the privacy team on questions relating to the function you are partner to. It is therefore important that you stay up-to-date on activities in the business, as well as being able to communicate privacy topics and news to the relevant stakeholder in the business.As the privacy Partner to HR
The HR Privacy Partner supports the HR community on privacy related matters in an HR context, including relevant labor law. It is therefore a plus if you have previous experience with working with HR processes and activities, and/or understanding of labor law.Your work will not be limited to only the HR function, as you will also drive cross-functional privacy projects. The main part of the role is to ensure implementation of the strategic initiatives defined in Pandora’s privacy strategy. This includes being responsible for driving larger privacy projects end-to-end, including having the responsibility for scoping, planning, execution and reporting.You will be involved in:

  • Provide guidance for new and ongoing projects in the business function from a privacy perspective.
  • Collaborating with team members on the delivery of the privacy strategy.
  • Review and maintain the data inventory of processing activities for your business function, including risk assessments and DPIA’s.
  • Oversee the privacy practices of third-party vendors and ensure they comply with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for HR staff and other employees on privacy practices and data protection policies.
  • Sit-in on meetings with senior stakeholders on key strategic initiatives in the area.
  • Own and drive the HR Data Subject Rights process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive structured implementation of initiatives end-to-end, including carrying out scoping, planning, communication and reporting.
  • Be the bridge between the privacy team and the HR function through your role as Privacy Partner.
  • Stay on top of what’s happening in the business as well as in the Privacy field.
  • Be a main driver of the compliance culture in Pandora, both globally and locally.

  • Ensure timely implementation of the strategic initiatives with a high degree of quality and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy standards.
  • Build a culture of compliance through education and knowledge sharing.

To succeed in the role as a Privacy Partner you need to have both a compliance mindset and a business mindset. You need to understand the business requirements as well as the privacy requirements to be able to find the best solutions for Pandora and should therefore independently and proactively work with the business to understand business priorities. You will work across functions and cultures, hence strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.The ideal candidate
You have an educational background within Law, Commercial law, Compliance, IT, Economics & Business Administration or similar relevant education.Professional Competencies:

  • Minimum 3 years of solid and documented privacy/compliance and/or consultancy experience with focus on privacy/compliance.
  • Solid experience working with larger projects and implementation programs, preferably within compliance or privacy.
  • Experience with building and optimizing compliance frameworks and processes,
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite, mainly PowerPoint.
  • Experience with working with HR processes and the general activities finding place in a HR function for a large global company
  • OneTrust experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • A plus but not a requirement: CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM or other Data Privacy certifications.
  • Professional proficiency in written and verbal English
