Location: UK Various (Birmingham or London)- Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time HR Operations Specialist to join our People team to support both the EMEA Global Occupier Services and UK&I People Partnering teams.

You will be experienced in query resolution and providing end to end support for a range of HR operational matters across the employee life cycle. The role requires significant use and technical knowledge of Workday, as well as high attention to accuracy and detail.

Role Purpose:

• Provides HR Operations support to both the EMEA GOS People Partner team & UK&I People Partnering team to help drive our People Strategy and ensure commercial business objectives are met

• To act as a conduit between the People Services Team based in Hungary and the local UK People Partner team to ensure best in class HR service delivery is provided to stakeholders

• To be the point of escalation from Tier 1 HR process matters to more complex Tier 2 matters which require a level of judgment and commerciality

Core Responsibilities:

Operations & Data

• Work conjointly with the People Services team to manage Tier 2 more complex matters, working with and escalating to People Partners where appropriate.

• Communicate with employees, line managers and the People Team to resolve HR queries across the employee life cycle. E.g. ranging from complex family leave calculations (maternity, paternity, etc) / flexible working requests / garden leave / claw back on sponsorship training provisions & bonus payments / probation matters.

• Provide front line support to managers on Workday and drive the use of Manager Self Service

• Ensure that all template letters / forms are reviewed, accurate and fit for purpose to reflect policy, legal changes and People Services process changes, where applicable

• Support with long term absence & GIP claims

• Work closely with the Reward team to capture legislative changes such as National Minimum Wage / Real Living Wage

• Ensure that Annual Holiday Entitlement updates are reviewed for England, Scotland & Ireland (more specifically fixed term and part time employee allocations)

• Ensure that the yearly statutory redundancy increase is updated and accurate in the severance calculator

• Work closely with the Reward team to oversee the transfer, both into and out of the MS LLP, and any associated paperwork & actions.

• MS LLP promotions / retirements

• Maintenance & Administration of Knowledge Articles on Helphub

• Submission of Data to the RICS & SCSI (Commercial Ireland) checking invoice and highlighting any anomalies and processing for payment.

• Support with general HR policy review maintenance.

Employee Relations

• Oversee & produce bulk and ad hoc exit calculations, settlements agreements and co-ordinate leaver details.

• Working with People Partners & People Services to provide support in accurately administering complex settlement agreements (e.g. pension arrangements)

• Providing administration support to the People Partnering team on any restructuring, integration, mergers, redundancy activity in the business

• Support the delivery of TUPE administration processes where applicable

Qualifications:

• Experience of working in HR Operations

• Experience of working in a HR Shared Services Centre model

• Experience of working within a global matrix structure

• Significant experience of using Workday

• Intermediate/Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • Knowledge of UK employment law would be desirable

  • Must be tenacious, resourceful and resilient,

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage key stakeholder relationships across EMEA

  • Ability to work with both onshore and offshore People teams

  • Ability to analyse and present data using Excel

  • Flexible in approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
