Molex is looking for a HR Manager to lead the overall operational management of the human resources function for our Italian locations at Molex Cables. Support the business objectives and implement the organizations human resource management programs, ensuring compliance with Italian employment legislation. Foster a working environment that supports the ideas and values of Molex and in line with our Business Philosophy, Principle Based Management.
Our Team
The HR Manager will partner with functional leaders to understand business goals and strategic initiatives. Work closely with leadership to understand and proactively identify opportunities for HR to add value to business operations.
This role will be located in our plant in Verdellino, Bergamo.
What You Will Do
- Partner with functional leaders to understand business goals and strategic initiatives. Work closely with leadership to understand and proactively identify opportunities for HR to add value to business operations
- Acts as an internal consultant/coach to leadership team on talent and culture, making proposals for solving problems and providing continuous support
- Act as a steward for our company culture (PBM Business Philosophy) by applying our mental models and tools in all aspects of HR practices and systems. Demonstrate the company’s focus on Inclusion, Diversity and Community through genuine interactions and conversations
- Establish and maintain high levels of engagement across the employee population. Be a trusted advisor to managers and individual contributors, working closely with management to identify and address performance issues and recognize/reward performance
- Supporting leaders by driving Talent Development activities including Organizational Design, Succession Planning, Talent Reviews, Individual Development Plans and solutioning to address business risk related to talent
- Manage and motivate employees of Human Resources Department, conducting evaluations and promoting the continued development of employees
- Support leaders with market insights as well as with compensation decisions, including base and variable pay recommendations. Help identify opportunities to address gaps where total contribution is not aligned with total compensation
- Collaborate with the Talent Solutions team, local recruitment agencies and leadership team on talent needs
- Supervises the administrative activities of personnel including payroll process
- Manage internal and external union relations in line with company policies
- Work closely with the leadership team & EHS in supervising health & safety efforts on site
- Manage GDPR aspects in the company regarding the treatment of personal data of the employees
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Higher Education – preferably specialization in human resource management or business focused qualification
- Proven experience of demonstrated success influencing stakeholders across business capabilities in a multinational environment
- Knowledge of human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, talent management, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management
- Understanding of business priorities and how to support the highest valued work
- English and Italian fluent in both oral and written
